BCPG’s Kids Greener Project

Under the Breath of the Wilds concept, the Company aims to promote natural resource and biodiversity conservation while cultivating environmental awareness among youth, who will play an important role in driving sustainable development in the future. The Company therefore collaborated with faculty members from the Conservation Biology Program at Mahidol University to organize the BCPG’s Kids Greener Project, enhancing knowledge and understanding of ecosystems and biodiversity through learning outside the classroom.

The project was organized for Grade 6 students and teachers from nine schools surrounding the operational area of the Lom Ligor Wind Power Project in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, with a total of 48 participants. The project provided youth with hands-on learning through creative activities, including birdwatching, studying bat behavior, exploring wetland and coastal ecosystems, and learning about the importance of biodiversity and the role of renewable energy in achieving balanced coexistence with nature.

In addition to promoting environmental knowledge, the project aimed to inspire youth to appreciate the value of natural resources and participate in conserving their local ecosystems. It also strengthened relationships among the Company, educational institutions, communities, and academia to jointly drive sustainable environmental conservation.
