Asia Link Terminal Co., Ltd. places importance on systematic safety risk management due to the nature of its business, which involves the storage and transportation of fuel oil and is exposed to fire and emergency risks that may affect employees, communities, the environment, and business continuity. The Company therefore conducted its annual fire drill and evacuation exercise for 2025 to enhance its preparedness to prevent, manage, and respond to emergencies in compliance with relevant laws and safety standards.

The drill was conducted jointly with the training unit of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, which is certified by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. The exercise simulated a fire at a crude oil transfer pump within the operational area and incorporated additional risk conditions to test the emergency response team’s situation assessment and decision-making under realistic conditions.

The Company established an Incident Command Structure covering command, operations, support, and technical functions to ensure an effective emergency response, reduce operational confusion, and enable the situation to be brought under control quickly.

The program comprised fire safety training, a Table Top Exercise (TTX), a field exercise based on a realistic scenario, and an After Action Review. Feedback from the exercise was used to continuously improve the risk management and emergency response plans.

The training unit’s assessment found that participants understood their roles and responsibilities under the emergency response plan and were able to respond correctly and in accordance with the prescribed procedures. All participants met every assessment criterion under Kor Pho. Ror Ngor. 2 Form and received official certificates, reflecting the organization’s emergency preparedness and commitment to fostering a Safety Culture.

Benefits of the Program

• A total of 48 employees, representing 70% of employees, participated in both theoretical and practical training and exercises, covering key functions including Management, Port Operations, Tank Farm, Maintenance, and Safety.
• All participating employees passed the assessment under Kor Por. Ror Ngor. 2 Form and received certificates of compliance with the Ministerial Regulation on fire prevention and suppression.
• The program enhanced personnel preparedness for emergency response, reduced the risk of serious accidents, and supported the organization’s Zero Accident target.
