Safety Training Program

The Company conducts annual occupational health and safety development programs for suppliers working at the Group’s project sites. The programs aim to enhance their skills, knowledge, and understanding to improve safety performance effectively in accordance with legal requirements, build confidence among relevant stakeholders, and prevent or reduce operational accident risks and associated costs. The Company therefore requires suppliers to participate in safety development and training courses for general employees, new employees, and contractors for the prescribed training duration. The training covers:
- Safety knowledge
- Safety laws
- Safety regulations
- Applicable laws on competency development for electrical personnel
- Laws governing annual electrical system inspections
Benefits of the Program
- A total of 267 employees, suppliers, and contractors, representing 100% of the target participants, attended the occupational health and safety training across 22 operational locations. Participants comprised 232 men and 35 women.
- Lost-time and fatal work-related accidents involving suppliers and contractors at operational locations: 0 cases
