Under the Breath of the Wilds concept, the Company aims to conserve and restore natural resources while creating shared value for communities. The Company implements the BCPG Mangrove Rehabilitation Project for a Sustainable World to promote systematic mangrove ecosystem restoration in line with the national forestry strategy, foster participation among local communities, and enhance greenhouse gas removal capacity through mangrove forest conservation.

The project has been registered under the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER), supporting carbon dioxide sequestration and carbon credit generation while enhancing the long-term value of natural resources.

The Company implements the project in collaboration with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and communities in Samut Songkhram, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chanthaburi, and Trat provinces. The project covers a total area of 457.76 rai over its 10-year duration and is based on the participation of all sectors in the continuous conservation, restoration, and stewardship of natural resources.

In addition, the Company cultivates environmental awareness among youth through the “Muddy Hands for Mangrove Forests, Year 3” activity, organized in collaboration with Kabin Wittaya School in Prachin Buri Province. Teachers and students participated in mangrove planting activities in Trat Province to raise awareness and cultivate an understanding of natural resource and coastal ecosystem conservation.

Beyond generating environmental benefits, the project also aims to create economic and social shared value for local communities by promoting employment and income generation. This includes purchasing mangrove seedlings from communities, hiring local workers to plant and maintain mangrove forests, engaging local operators to transport materials and equipment, and supporting the use of community goods and services. These activities help distribute income, support local occupations, and strengthen the grassroots economy alongside the sustainable conservation of natural resources.

Benefits of the Program

• 35 employees participated in the project activities.
• Employees contributed a total of 560 volunteer hours.
• 80 teachers and Grade 10 and Grade 12 students from Kabin Wittaya School in Prachin Buri Province participated in the activities, with 90% of the students passing the post-activity assessment of knowledge and understanding.
• A total of 10 officials from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, experts, and consultants participated in the project.
• The project is expected to sequester approximately 1,133 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year.
• Employment and income-generating opportunities were created for more than 10 community members, representing a total economic value of THB 628,600.
